Computer Hardware: IBM Flat Monitors
Have you seen IBM flat monitors? I was looking at flat panel monitors the other day and was drawn to 17 inch IBM flat monitors. They have such a great look to them and they offer amazing features. All IBM flat monitors are part of the IBM ThinkVision line. This is IBMs top monitor line.
IBM currently offers LCD monitors in 15, 17, 19, and 20 inch sizes. The cheapest one, the 15 inch, will run you about $450. This is kind of pricey for a 15 inch LCD but theres a reason why its so much. If you take a look at other 15 inch LCDs youll notice that most of them only have analog input. While this was great in the past, what you want now is digital. IBM offers one of the only few 15 inch LCDs with a digital input. This definitely makes it worth more than others.
Advantages of ThinkVision IBM Flat Monitors
Whats great about IBM flat monitors is that all their LCDs come with both digital and analog inputs. This is extremely rare for an entire line of monitors. I cant express how much you need a digital connection. Theres really no point in even buying a flat panel monitor if its not digital.
What makes digital so much better than analog? Analog signals are fuzzy and have distortion. Digital signals are either on or off. If its on, you get a totally clear and clean picture. If its off, then you get no signal or anything. This means you cant even get fuzziness or a bad picture. Its the same way digital television works.
